Well here it is; the update I've been putting off for 2 months now, and god there's been a lot going on. This will be a cut, since there is a lot of pictures here. It just got to a point where I read it to myself and went "holy crap".
( The last 2+ months )
And last thing for this update, too important to be in the cut, an accomplishment I've been working on for quite some time.

Thank god it's over. No more materials clogging up the MH waiting for the right time to be synthed, finally can put my Emeralda in my MH to stay, and well, Alch 100! Cursed-1 here I come!

Well, I found a link to my own LJ amongst some bookmarks or what not, and saw it's been forever and a day since I actually wrote anything here.
Game life has been somewhat busy since DL, there's always something to do LS wise, and if there isn't, there's something to do myself wise.
Been walking around, doing various quests, trying to get gear, etc, but I will save it all for the picture update.
Today is Sea, and depends on how it turns out I might finally put up something more exciting than just text on this page that's been forsaken by god himself.
Stay tuned, the latent effect will activate sooner or later :P

Some days are bad, some are good, some are both. Today happened to be one those days. The day started out super sad, one of my long time friends, a really good guy quit FF today. We aren't sure if he'll ever be back, but we certainly hope. This is a tribute to him- the pictures are not in any sort of order.
( Beamer )
On a good note, I have been accepted into a shell I've wanted to be a part of since this screenshot-

So thanks for the welcome to all the DL people, I hope to be a nice addition to the team :D

So after I got home, we had some fun with Jailer of Faith.

Grats to Cyphx on the torque and I believe Vu on the claws.
Awesome fight, looking forward to other crazy stuff ^^

Well.. it's been forever and a day since I last updated this thing, just like pretty much anyone I know/read. Since it's been at least two weeks, a few pictures piled up, as well as some others that might have been left out of the last update, perhaps because I was lazy or perhaps I just missed them.
This is all I've done in the last two weeks +, enjoy-
( Fun stuff here :P )

First off-

Which FF Character Are You?
Yep, I rule. Second-
Hot on the heels of the Kingdom Hearts II voice cast, which was announced just last week, comes the first peek at the English-language voice cast of Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, which has been delayed repeatedly due to some last minute signings, most notably that of American Beauty jailbait, Mena Suvari, who was brought on to perform the voice of Aerith Gainsborough in not only Kingdom Hearts II, but also to reprise the role in Advent Children. While Sony's DVD head of marketing, Mike Stratford, was quoted talking all kinds of crap to The Digital Bits, claiming that we'd see the release of Advent Children in North America by "end of 2006" (causing much consternation among Final Fantasy fans nationwide), 1UP is glad to inform you that the DVD and UMD will ship in the U.S. on
April 25, 2006.
So in case you haven't already downloaded the movie from the Internet (bad, pirates, bad!) and are looking forward to seeing this hour-and-a-half slice of CG Final Fantasy fan-service for yourself, you've roughly two months to go. Here's the mostly anonymous voice cast, with the exception of Rachel Leigh Cook (Tifa), and Mena Suvari (Aerith), with Steve Burton playing the role of Cloud Strife (he was the voice of Cloud in Kingdom Hearts 1). But who cares about that when it can finally be revealed that "Girl" will be played by Andrea Bowen?
[Editor's Note: This information pertains specifically to the English dub, and does not indicate whether or not the original Japanese language track will be included -- featuring English subtitles -- which it will, because Square Enix is very aware that that's how their fans like it.]

EDIT-- New link to all races below, modified them all :P
So, after looking at Gekko for god knows how long, I decided it was getting old. What inspired me to mess with this was Russta's indulgence into Cosmic Elucidation.
I watched his video and promptly swapped it myself, unfortunatelly the model "tweak" being worse on my silly 7 foot toon, I switched it right back. I got to this .dat from an Alla topic, and after swapping it, I checked out the .dat itself in the POLutils. First thing that caught my eye was the very pronounced moon that's included as part of the animation, and said, "hey, that should be Gekko".
Opened Photoshop and got to work :D
This is the first mod, only of the moon. Original is on the right, new one on the left.

This is what I just did today, I decided to replace the possibly arabic script with the seven virtues of Bushido.

If you want to grab it, this is it.
Gekko
Place in appropriate folders, readme included.
I will fix this game, one shitty detail at a time :P

Been a while since last significant update, but since there hasn't been much going on at one time, I wanted to wait for a bundle of events to throw into one bigger update.
First off, I decided to boycott the rest of NFS: Most Wanted. The game was fun, I got 70% done, but in the end two things bothered me terribly. One being my horrible luck with cops, and always having my car land on top of some idiot donut-eater's car unable to drive off, resulting in me getting busted, thrown to jail, and having to start my quest for infinite destruction and glory of all police, and two, well, it's a racer. Racing games tend to get real repetitive, real fast. With the same things to do over and over again, and only the AI getting slightly harder, it really got to a point where I dreaded turning the thing on. The game was also lacking cars, upgrades, and general customization that I felt was missing, and believe have been more of in the original NFS:Underground. If EA made an NFS game with the customization of GT4... we would be talking something else.

So I parted with it, leaving my pimped out Lambo to rot.
After we cleared for Sea a week or so back, I hopped out after soloing into Sea Lion's den and saw Dill from CoD. I knew he finished last relic stage, just haven't ran into him to congratulate him officially.

I believe he's the first NA on our server to have last stage done, big congratulations. Hope more NA people get theirs soon. Whether it be shell A or B, it is definitelly an accomplishment, and always nice to see one of our guys get something as significant as this.
Sometime after all this, I did my first Dynamis with NoTach, and it's definitelly been the most fun I've had killing stuff in this game. Everyone is very organized, knows exactly what to do, has fun doing it, in the end making it a very enjoyable experience. Ally and Hankun make a great team pulling/picking, and it definitelly makes everything flow much smoother. Being on Vent with these guys is also and incredible advantage, I don't really know how people could act as fast only with the keyboard. Don't remember all the drops, but I think we had a very nice coin pool in the end.
After all that fun, killing the boss, and getting back to the boardwalks between MH and AH, Ally with a twisted laugh on Vent pulled half the zone, wiping us clean :D.

It was definitelly hilarious seeing these guys completely go through us like butter. I think Bast was lucky and got away from the carnage (after one RR I think), but for most part everybody died in there somewhere.
Other than death and carnage, sometime before wipe, Geno and Jiang managed to hax the game :P and end up in the water by the boardwalk. Think it was Sweep, and with the great programming this game has, well, it was almost expected.

Sometime during all the fun stuff going on, I have been trying to find out info and perhaps get ppl to kill Amikiri with me, however with no luck at all. I went to the tunnel at one point and asked someone to help me out, and believe they killed it, Blade dropped, and I was afk at lunch -_-;; The other time, Carmn was awesome enough and grabbed a few people (big thx to Epodon, Bastilla, Cleona, Blaize, Beamer, Vero and of course Carmn) to kill this bastard. However through misunderstanding, Carmn thought it was up, so they came in hopes of just getting the fight done. Thank you again for staying as long as we did (right around 3 hrs) however we never saw it pop. Blaize and Vero did run off at one time Ungur hunting, and managed to pop him.

We went up there, killed, and through Beamer DCing I got the drop because everyone else already had it. Kinda bummed because Beamer will hit 70 on THF lot faster than I will on NIN, but can't do anything about internet failing :(
My other goal other than trying for Amikiri was to try for Zipacna. Problem with that though, is that I don't want to just grab a few people to kill him, and waste a pop item for some LS who does this regularly. So, my only hope at this moment is to get up there and ask for the drop from a shell that absolutely doesn't need it. I went up there one day, and I got accidentally MPKd by someone. The MPK itself didn't bother me because I knew the person and know they didn't mean it, but according to the last patch, it's just not possible. I was after a fresh zone, not in any party, no hate whatsoever. I called a GM to (yea ok, let's dream for a second) maybe get help or an answer, but all I got was a funny conversation.
( GM talk )
Since I now have Sea access, I went to Limbus with the combination of Valor and another linkshell, together called Limbusters. I was secretly hoping for a farming run to start on my coin gathering, but unfortunatelly people were a bit gung-ho and decided we should give Proto-Omega a shot. With no knowledge of what it does, people not knowing what to expect and general chaos, we failed miserably. It was a bit fun, sure, but in the end just like most things in Sea, a complete waste of time in terms of item loss.

I did manage to score a pretty nice Kasha on it, being somewhat HNM of a mob considerably reasonable damage.

Rolune has been persuading me to try GW, and this last weekend they had a preview of the new expansion. You could download the free preview client, and pick a character out of the template to play, however this was PvP only. I have been wanting to check this game out for a while, PCGamer has been giving it great reviews and also made it the MMO of the year, so this was a good chance. Great thing about GW is that you don't pay a monthly fee, and you can't really complain about that. However, I am going to wait for the expansion to come out, since it has more eastern feel to it, and it's just what interests me more. Did manage to grab a quick SS of me and Rolune. I picked me a hot girl Assasin to play with :P, Rolune is the dude on the right. I don't remember what job that was however.

Not really a person to rip on other's gear, but running through Jeuno one day I saw a SAM and just had to check him. Turns out this is what he had on, and well.. it made me cry.

I was saying to myself "this guy has such crap" but then realized that maybe giving him the benefit of the doubt would be wiser since this could be the RMT's fault. It's sad to see where this is heading, and I certainly hope some miracle just happens and everything goes back to being normal. Too many new people are either forced to buy gil nowadays, or forced to buy crap gear because they won't budge and fall to the dark side. /sigh
Last but certainly not least, did Dynamis Bastok with Migraine last night, and well, it was "fun". Since it's so many random people, Vent was 99% DL and 1%, well, me. Don't think we had anyone last night on Vent who wasn't DL except for me, so there was no real strategy going on, just fun talk. This however makes it hard to focus on the LS and party chat for me, because I get zoned into listening to people and just killing stuff in the proper order. This was also the first time I was in Dyna with JB, and gotta say it was fun as hell, on game and vent alike. JB is totally suicidal, and it definitelly added a spice to the fun we were already having.

Drops were pretty good, we had 247 coins total, and a healthy sum of AF. Big congrats to Lordkain who finally after 4 losses won the fifth Melee Gaiters, poor guy was lotting crap (blame Dialup). Last lot was 367 and proved to be high enough! I had a nice lot of 927 I think on the first Ito that dropped, so I was totally scared that I wasted my good lot on some crap that will never see the light of day. However, that proved opposite, and I lotted I think a 748 on the first Saotome Kote.

We ended up seeing 2 more drop, and oddly enough there were three Samurai in Dynamis last night, so everyone got one. We also had a THF drop, I believe one BLM. Grats to the people who won those, can't remember who exactly.
And for my parting remarks, I have been wanting to see this show for a while now, and just recently put it together in my head that it's in fact Carmn's latest obsession (I didn't know the name of it), so-

Carmn wants you to watch Bleach!

Don't think we had anyone last night on Vent who wasn't DL except for me, so there was no real strategy going on, just fun talk.

Well where to start. First off, I haven't updated in a while, and even though there's not a lot of you guys reading I don't think, it's always been cool to put something up here, because it signified getting something done.
It's been elusive to me however, the whole last week seemed to be cursed, especially Wednesday. Our Dyna got cancelled, and to add to the pain, Aga's Dyna shell gave SAM AF2 feet to a SAM who's like lvl 55 with a lot of 48. The only piece I really want, and it almost gets thrown out -_-;;;
With other things going bad/wrong/crappy, I didn't know what to expect of our planned CoP day today (Sat). I spent most of my week with Half-Life 2 and NFS: Most Wanted, and didn't really pay attention to much in FF. Just last night I found out from Nat (a WHM friend who joined us for the 6-4 BC and the NMs leading up to 7-5) that he can't make today's BC, which by my great streak of luck this week, didn't really surprise me. However, props go out to Nat who took one for the team and asked to be replaced (we will go back for you when you want to Nat :D) and we decided to try to get a person in his spot today. After the bad-ish news, I got back to HL2 and finished it up, here's a pretty screenshot :P. Not really a spoiler, but I thought it shows how amazingly gorgeous the game is.

So this morning, I was a little queasy waking up, but got up on time and logged on. Much to my surprise and joy, Vero made it even though she said last night she's very 50/50, so we went ahead and proceeded to the BC.
Since I haven't updated for a while, I really don't feel like making LJ cuts for this one- sue me.
This is what Sea Lion's den looked like right when I logged on, it was literally lower Jeuno in there. People coming in, coming out, dying on the floor, etc.

This is our buddy right before the BC, haven't taken a cool SS of him in a while so here it is :P I noticed later that since he bent his neck and turned his head so far right, his textures are stretching on his ear and back of his neck. GJ SE!

Tenzen at 100%, us standing all cool waiting for Deeb to get out of CS that he chose to watch again. Leftover Pizza doesn't jive with FF too well however. I half expected Debo to be afk during the fight ;)

Tenzen at 64, and seriously, that's the only screenshot I took during the fight. It went down SO FAST, I had my finger near the button when I could, but I had some WS to spam, and didn't think of putting it on auto mode. 50% fail at Fraps.

Us > Tenzen. TW.

After the BC, I believe this is a part of the CS you get entering Al'Taieu. It was so amazingly beautiful, I just HAD to take a SS.

Right after zoning in, the Celestial Capital in the distance.

The winning team, thank you once again Vero, Les and Debo. Owe you guys a lot, thank you for letting us get over this hurdle.

The gate to the palace etc, thought it was a nice SS to take.

Exiting with Xade by the updraft. RED!

After I came back to solo a mob or two, I was wondering where this place would be on the region map. Well, it's like they said, pretty much north of Movalpolos.

Here's a run in with an Aern, I soloed a nice DC Ul'Mpehde or whatever the spelling is, and it was cake. Turns out the Aerns aren't that easy or friendly, I had to use my 2hr, and took a SS because I don't remember the last time I had such a nice LVL3 SC effect. Almost double <3

And the final shot from the distance of the zone. Very beautiful place.

Well that's it for today, it was fun, exciting, and most of all, inspiring. I was down on the game/CoP the last few days, and it definitely brought my spirits back up some.
Hope to be able to finish it, would really love to have it over with before the next expansion comes out.
Til next time-

I fail at Fraps yet again. We beat the CoP 6-4 BC today, going 1/2(3), and I did not take one screenshot of the actual fight. Not friggin one.
The fights were relatively ok, we did end up wiping on Omega on the first run however, he started spamming kinda fast, Vero, our tank, died relatively soon and it was all downhill from there.
Second run was interesting, we had a spike flail of sorts from Omega, then ended up wiping on Ultima, but we died in corners, so RR, full health, and finished him off easy. We wiped at 15%, and when we got up we still had RDM, RNG, WHM and BLM 2hr I believe at our disposal, so it was just a matter of beating the BC timer. Congratulations to all that were there, and extra special thanks to Vero and Les for helping out with the mission.
But now, I shall retire in shame... I just hope I don't noob up Tenzen Fraps, because that's one fight I want to have SS of -_-

Carmn sucks for not updating his journal, like ever, anymore.
That's all I have to say.
That's all I have to say.

So... sometime during last evening I totally passed out in front of the TV completely putting me out balance, which resulted in me waking up at 3am after going to bed at about midnight. I decided to hop on the game to do a few things that I wanted to do earlier, but having been asleep couldn't.
First off, I decided to do the Choco race again, Sandy->Windy, and came in at 27:55. Another Miratete's Memoirs, and 1308 EXP in the bag for little to no effort.
I also have been getting back to Alchemy when time and money allow, slowly skilling up, and I gotta say I love Lightsday and Full Moon. I did about 9 synths, had 4 breaks, and never lost one Phil. Stone :D. I even had 2 .01 skillups from 4 synths of nuggets, totally awesome. Slowly working back at it, at 93.7 now.
I also decided that while I'm in Bastok, I might as well try for some GP. Lucky me, it was an easy item, which yielded 7360 for one synth, so another great Bastok moment.
So while in Bastok, having already tasted the goods of "free" EXP, decided to go into solo ENM again and try for that easy 2k. Well, the only SS from today is that, and there's a reason. I think it was the easiest solo ENM I've ever done.

In other news, I had to change video card drivers because some other games are getting pissy, so I'm getting funny texture artifacts in Ranguemont pass. I haven't seen them anywhere else yet, and it's not that major, but jesus h christ SE, make the game compatibile with the new shit!

Anyone else getting this? It's not like this everywhere, just a few spots.

Haha finally happened!

And because I was bored, and HATE the Hachiman look, grabbed a .dat from someone else and fixed it up a bit.
Looks much better now :D

That's it, I'm toooo hungry to type and recall the last week's events.
